|
| A few shots of the house at different times of the year. A ten-acre wildflower meadow lies directly in front of the House which has the most wonderful show of wildflowers in spring and early summer. This is nurtured for sweet hay for the arab horses during the winter. When it is cut, the second or third week of July, the whole valley smells of vintage summer and it is an occasion that we all look forward to - Pimms, a Kir or a glass of Rose is the perfect foil for these days. And of course, Autumn has arrived and the first fires have been lit using dry, fragrant oak and chestnut. |
